Ednaldo Oliveira (born February 19, 1984) is an undefeated Brazilian Heavyweight mixed martial artist. He is a training partner of current UFC Heavyweight Champion Junior dos Santos.[2]

Oliveira made his MMA debut in 2005 against Van Clei and won via decision.
He next fought Alexander Crispin at Bahia Combat winning via TKO (corner stoppage).
He won his next two bouts against Ed Carlos Mata and Jailson Silva Santos both by submission.
Ednaldo next fought Grimaldo Oliveira with the fight was declared a draw after three rounds.[3]
He would then go on to face Artur Tubarao at JF 13 - Jungle Fight Ceara he defeated Tubarao via TKO (Punches) in the first round.[4]
He then fought PRIDE veteran Edson Claas Vieira and won the fight after Vieira suffered an ankle injury just 1 minute into the first round.[5][6][7]
He then faced Joaquim Ferreira for the WFE Heavyweight Championship at WFE 6 and won via Decision.[8]
Oliveira next fought against Geronimo dos Santos at WFE 8 - Platinum and won via TKO in the first round.[9]
Oliveira fought against Antidio Neto at Jungle Fight 25, And won via KO in the first round.
Oliveira's next fight was against Edson Franca at WFE 9 - Platinum, Oliveira won via TKO in the second round.[10]
Oliveira fought against Luiz Guilherme de Andrade at Jungle Fight 29 The fight began with Oliveira using his big reach advantage to pick the local fighter apart with jabs and kicks and it looked like a finish was near. In the latter part of the round, Oliveira connected with what seemed to be a legal and clean punch to the left eye of de Andrade, who immediately fell down and tapped due to the strike. He alleged that he was poked in the eye and couldn’t continue. The referee confirmed that it was an eye poke and chose to call the fight a No Contest. Replays of the scene were inconclusive.[11]
Oliveira's next fight was against Ubiratan Marinho Lima at Jungle Fight 30,[12] Oliveira won via unanimous decision.[13]
Oliveira fought Jair Goncalves at WFE 10 - Platinum.[14] Oliveira won the bout via TKO in the first round.
In his most recent bout, Oliveira defeated Nalzinho Novaes at Minotauro Fights 6 winning the bout via KO in the first round.
With his impressive resume, Oliveira has signed for the UFC and was set to make his debut at UFC 142 in Brazil against Rob Broughton.[15] However Broughton later pulled out of the bout due to an injury and was replaced by Gabriel Gonzaga.[16]
